Forum: etree Subject: New HTTP upload interface feature request

The feature I would like to see added to the HTTP file manager would be the ability to select and delete more than one file at a time. To be able to sort by file type, date, name would make this very powerful.

Another way to achieve this would be for the Derive function to have an option to delete all existing derivatives and create the anew, but that would be a bit less efficient for the system.

I guess I'd also like to be able to have a shorter path to the item manager. I think the new Butterfly belongs on the item manager page, rather than having to click through the current Butterfly page to get to the metadata editor and *then* clicking through to the item manager. Heck, it's already there, just add the cute icon and remove the new butterfly splash page. If some people like it the new way, then what about having a settable user preference for each library card-holder?

Archive.org has gotten so much easier to use, and stable, that this is all just nitpicking something that's pretty great. I'd just like to see it even better!!
